[RespectYGO] Why should you consider building “Crystron” in this meta? | Archetype Starter Guide
Why should you consider building “Crystron” in this meta? | Archetype Starter Guide Hey Duelists! ArcKnight here with some thrilling news! Asian English has just dropped Creation Pack 06, introducing exciting new themes that tie into the upcoming Main Booster Pack – Supreme Darkness, set to release this February. Among these themes is the classic Crystron, which has received a fantastic boost in SUDA, propelling them into the meta spotlight. Today, we'll delve into the key cards and explore some sample deck lists to inspire you to craft your Crystron Deck. Let's dive in! Let’s meet the Crystrons! Crystron Smiger Crystron Smiger Level: 3Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Effect ATK: 1000DEF: 1800 You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Smiger" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Card Review: One of the main starters of the theme. You would most likely use its 2nd effect to search for a Crystron Spell/Trap over its first effect, and this works well with the new link monster from SUPREME DARKNESS called Clockwork Knight. Ratio: Play 3 copies.   Crystron Sulfefnir Crystron Tristalos Card Type: Tuner Level: 2 Attribute: Water Types: Machine ATK: 800DEF: 2000 When your opponent activates a card or effect (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck, except "Crystron Tristalos", then, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine monster using that monster you control. You can banish this card from your GY; destroy 1 Synchro Monster you control, and if you do, Special Summon 2 "Crystron" monsters from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters. You can only each effect of "Crystron Tristalos" once per turn. Card Review: The newest low-level tuner is released in SUPREME DARKNESS. Crystron Tristalos serves as your ultimate extender or simply a way to dodge those targeting effects with its quick synchro 1st effect. Ratio: Play 2-3 copies.   Crystron Sulfefnir Crystron Sulfefnir Level: 5 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Effect ATK: 2000 DEF: 1500 If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can discard 1 "Crystron" card, except "Crystron Sulfefnir"; Special Summon this card in Defense Position, then destroy 1 card you control. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Crystron Sulfefnir" once per turn.   Card Review: Crystron Sulfefnir is another way to fetch your Crystron Smiger or other relevant Crystron monster, depending on the scenario, for as long as you have another Crystron card to discard. Ratio: Play 3 copies.    Crystron Sulfador Crystron SulfadorLevel: 5Attribute: WaterTypes: MachineATK: 1900DEF: 2250 If this card is in your hand or GY: You can target 1 "Crystron" card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon this card, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send up to 2 "Crystron" cards with different names from your Deck to the GY, except "Crystron Sulfador". You can only use each effect of "Crystron Sulfador" once per turn.   Card Review: Crystron Sulfador is another new Crystron card from SUPREME DARKNESS, one of your primary targets for the new spell Crystron Inclusion. When summoned, it can send up to 2 Crystron cards with different names from your Deck to your GY which helps send your combo pieces. Ratio: Play 2-3 copies.   Crystron Prasiortle Crystron Prasiortle Level: 2 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Effect ATK: 500 DEF: 2000 You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Prasiortle" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Card Review: Crystron Prasiortle helps you further extend your plays by allowing you to summon 1 Crystron monster from your hand by banishing this card from your Graveyard. Ratio: Play 1-3 copies.   Crystron Citree  Crystron Citree Card Type: Effect Tuner monster Level: 2 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Tuner / Effect ATK: 500 DEF: 500 Description: During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can target 1 non-Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect). These Synchro Materials are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Citree" once per turn. Card Review: Crystron Citree is another Tuner target for your Crystron that can also help strengthen your board as it can revive a non-tuner monster in your Graveyard to Synchro summon 1 Machine synchro. Ratio: Play 1 copy.   Crystron Thystvern  Crystron Thystvern Level: 3 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Effect ATK: 1500 DEF: 1500 Description: You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Thystvern". You can only use 1 "Crystron Thystvern" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Card Review: Like most non-tuner Crystron monsters, you can also special summon 1 Crystron tuner from your deck when you destroy 1 face-up card you control. Unlike Crystron Smiger, its ATK doesn’t work with Clockwork Knight, so you won’t easily be able to take advantage of its effect to add 1 Crystron monster from your Deck to your hand without a way to send this card to the Graveyard. It’s a neat starter when paired with Foolish Burial or Crystron Sulfador, to name a few. Ratio: Play 1 copy.   Crystron Rosenix Crystron Rosenix Level: 4 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Effect ATK: 1800 DEF: 1000 You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Crystron Token" (Machine-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0), but it cannot be Tributed. You can only use 1 "Crystron Rosenix" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Card Review: Crystron Rosenix helps you add another body with its token-generating Graveyard effect. It works best when you already have another monster to synchro with. Ratio: Play 0-1 copy.   Crystron Rion  Crystron Rion Level: 3 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Tuner / Effect ATK: 500 DEF: 500 During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can target 1 of your banished non-Tuner monsters; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect). These Synchro Materials are shuffled into the Deck instead of sent to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Rion" once per turn. Card Review: Like Citree, Rion can also help you Synchro-climb, but instead of a non-tuner monster from your Graveyard, it can fetch a monster straight from banishment. Ratio: Play 0-1 copy.   Crystron Quan Crystron Quan Level: 1 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Tuner / Effect ATK: 500 DEF: 500 During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can Special Summon 1 non-Tuner monster from your hand, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect). You can only use this effect of "Crystron Quan" once per turn. Card Review: This Crystron tuner monster can bring a synchro on your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase by special summoning a non-tuner monster from your hand. With a game revolving around card advantage, it is preferable to use Citree or Rion. Ratio: Play 0-1 copy.   Crystron Eleskeletus Crystron Eleskeletus Card Type: Synchro Level: 5 Attribute: Water Types: Machine ATK: 2600 DEF: 2100 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monstersMonsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK/DEF. You can only use each of the following effects of "Crystron Eleskeletus" once per turn. If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can add 1 "Crystron" card from your GY or banishment to your hand. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your GY or banishment.   Card Review: This is your go-to Crystron Synchro monster. This synchro combos well with Crystron Sulfador to help you fetch Crystron monsters and Crystron Spell/Traps from Graveyard or Banishment. Ratio: Play 2-3 copies.   Crystron Ametrix Crystron Ametrix Level: 5 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Synchro / Effect ATK: 2500 DEF: 15001 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can change all face-up Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 "Crystron" monster in your Graveyard, except a Synchro Monster; Special Summon it.   Card Review: One of the OG Crystron Synchro monsters. By itself, it can help mass change your opponent’s battle position to defense position to prevent OTK or allow you to run over them. It also floats to a new Crystron monster from your Graveyard when it is destroyed by battle or card effect. Ratio: Play 1 copy.   Crystron Quandax  Crystron Quandax Level: 4 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Synchro / Tuner / Effect ATK: 1800 DEF: 20001 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per Chain, during your opponent's Main or Battle Phase, you can (Quick Effect): Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster, using materials including this card you control. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 "Crystron" monster in your GY, except a Synchro Monster; Special Summon it.   Card Review: This synchro helps you climb to another Synchro monster, ala Formula Synchron. Also, it has a floating effect that can revive a Crystron monster from your Graveyard when it is destroyed by battle or card effect. Ratio: Play 0-1 copy.   Crystron Phoenix Crystron Phoenix Level: 9Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Synchro / Effect ATK: 2800 DEF: 2000 Description: 1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can banish all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls and in their Graveyard. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target one other monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.   Card Review: This synchro works best against decks reliant on back rows. It is a neat tech that can surprise your opponent. Ratio: Play 0-1 copy.   Crystron Quariongandrax Crystron Quariongandrax Level: 9 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Synchro / Effect ATK: 3000 DEF: 3000 Description: 2 or more Tuners + 1 non-Tuner monsterIf this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target monsters your opponent controls and/or in their Graveyard, up to the number of Synchro Materials used for the Synchro Summon of this card; banish them. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 banished monster, except this card; Special Summon it to your field.   Card Review: The big boss of the Crystron theme. In the actual game, you would most likely use 3 materials to summon this Synchro, which means you can banish up to 3 monsters on your opponent’s field and/or Graveyard, making it a game changer. Ratio: Play 1 copy.   Crystron Halqifibrax Crystron Halqifibrax Link: 2 Attribute: WATER Types: Machine / Link / Effect ATK: 1500 2 monsters, including a TunerIf this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Tuner from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, but it cannot activate its effects this turn. During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish this card you control; Special Summon 1 Tuner Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only use each effect of "Crystron Halqifibrax" once per turn.   Card Review: Crystron Halqifibrax made a huge comeback in Asian English, which means AE players can maximize It as an additional option. Most of the new cards are designed to work with the absence of Halqifribax, but Halqifibrax will definitely be a great addition to tutoring your tuner monsters. Ratio: Play 1 copy (AE only)   Crystron Inclusion Crystron InclusionCard Type: SpellTypes: Continuous Spell When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Crystron" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Inclusion". The first time each of your "Crystron" monsters would be destroyed by battle each turn, it is not destroyed. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Crystron" monster in your GY; Special Summon it. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Inclusion" once per turn. You can only activate 1 "Crystron Inclusion" per turn.   Card Review: Crystron Inclusion is an excellent 3-of card to “include” in your Crystron Deck. This works well with Crystron Sulfador and is one of your key cards to help establish your end board. Ratio: Play 3 copies, no questions asked.   Crystron Cluster Crystron ClusterContinuous Trap "Crystron" cards you control cannot be banished by your opponent's card effects. You can target 1 face-up card on the field, or up to 2 if you control a "Crystron" Synchro Monster; shuffle 1 "Crystron" card from your GY or banishment into the Deck, except "Crystron Cluster", and if you do, destroy the targeted cards. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Cluster" once per turn.   Card Review: Crystron Cluster is an excellent back row that can deal with your opponent’s field presence. It also has a neat banishment protection for your Crystron cards. Since this is also a Crystron card, it is immune to Cosmic Cyclone. Ratio: Play 1 copy. Review all cards related to Crystron here.   Sample Decklists Here are some sample decklists from the OCG that you can use to inspire your Asian English Crystron. [RespectYGO] Which Decks Should You Try with “Dimension Shifter” in Asian English Format? | Discussion
Which Decks Should You Try with “Dimension Shifter” in Asian English Format? | Discussion Hey Duelists! ArcKnight here. As we draw a new hand for the new year in the Asian English format, the real duel begins with choosing your next best deck. With different playstyles and local meta, it's a challenge that requires serious strategy! One thing's for sure: today's decks are graveyard-reliant. From Snake Eyes to Memento and Gimmick Puppet, they all need access to the GY. In this article, we'll cover decks that can maximize Dimension Shifter. It's time to unleash your villain arc and dominate the duel! How powerful is Dimension Shifter in this format? Dimension shifter remains at three copies in the January 2025 Asian English Forbidden & Limited List. Aside from the mighty Called by the Grave getting semi-limited in Asian English, no other usual main deck staples can counter the sneaky Dimension Shifter. If your opponent's deck is allergic to banishing, you can quickly gain control of the game. Ready to dominate? Let's dive into some epic decks in Asian English that will help you unleash the full power of this game-changing hand trap. Get your game face on because it's time to banish your opponents' hopes and dreams! 1.      Floowandereeze When it comes to Dimension Shifter, the first deck that should pop into your mind is none other than Floowandereeze! This deck is a perfect match for Dimension Shifter, and here's why: it's all about those Normal Summons. That means your opponent's Maxx "C" and Mulcharmy Fuwalos aren’t going to be as helpful as they expect them to be. (Imagine the opponent using them in the standby phase only to find out you’re playing birbs.) So, if you're looking to take control of the game and leave your opponents flapping in the wind, Floowandereeze is your go-to deck Sample List: 2.      Tenpai Dragon Tenpai Dragon isn't ready to be benched even with fewer starters. But beware, brave duelist! You must be as sharp as a dragon's claw when using your limited Tenpai Dragon Chundra while Dimension Shifter is active. Pro tip: Make sure you're going for the win the turn you use Tenpai Dragon Chundra, especially when your graveyard access is denied. Timing is everything, so unleash your inner dragon and aim for victory! Sample List: 3.      Millennium Exodia Millennium is a top-tier choice for duelists who love combining classic monsters with a competitive edge. Not only can you obliterate your opponent with the unstoppable Exodia, but your combos also don't rely heavily on the Graveyard. You can turn this to your advantage and leave your opponents scrambling! So, if you're looking to dominate the duel with a mix of nostalgia and power, Millennium is your go-to deck. Sample List: 4.      Shining Sarcophagus This deck is a fantastic contender, blending classic OG monsters with powerful new abilities. It pairs perfectly with Dimension Shifter, and its straightforward playstyle can also steal games right from under your opponent's nose! So, if you're ready to harness the power of ancient legends and outplay your rivals, Shining Sarcophagus is your ticket to victory. Get ready to shine and dominate the duel! Sample List: 5.      Ghoti Why Ghoti? Imagine combining the power of the ocean with the precision of Synchro summoning. Ghoti's unique playstyle revolves around banishing cards to unleash powerful combos and dominate the duel. With each banished card, you're setting the stage for a tidal wave of victory! Sample List: 6.      Nemleria If you're looking for a deck with a simple yet cool strategy that maximizes the banishing mechanic, Nemleria is your go-to choice. This deck is a fantastic beat-down and stun option, perfect for duelists who love straightforward yet powerful gameplay. Nemleria's unique approach lets you control the game and keep your opponents on the defensive. With each banished card, you're paving the way for a stunning victory when Dreaming Nemleria wakes up. Sample List: 7.      Vanquished Soul This promising deck brings a unique strategy, allowing you to dominate the duel based on the attributes you reveal. It's like having a secret weapon up your sleeve! With each move, you're not just playing the game but controlling it. Vanquish Soul's strategy is outsmarting your opponent and turning the tide in your favor. Best of all, Dimension Shifter is a DARK monster that can complement your Vanquish Soul monster effects. Sample List: 8.      Centur-Ion This deck is a fantastic choice, especially now that it can work seamlessly with Dimension Shifter, thanks to their new support. It's like giving your deck a turbo boost! Centur-Ion's new support cards enhance its ability to banish, making it a perfect match for Dimension Shifter. You can maximize your deck's potential and outplay your opponents with strategic banishing moves. It's all about timing and precision, and Centur-Ion delivers both in spades! Sample List: Summary Choosing your next best deck is an adventure! It's all about finding the perfect fit for your playstyle, local meta, and budget. Playing a deck capable of mining or siding Dimension Shifter in this ever-changing environment can give you a significant edge. It's like having a secret weapon ready to turn the tide of any duel! Keep an eye out for Maliss! This deck is another incredible choice, and it will be arriving soon in the Deck Build Pack: Crossover Breakers in Asian English. With its unique strategies and powerful cards, Maliss will shake things up and offer exciting new possibilities. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun! No matter what deck you choose, always remember the core reason you're playing: to enjoy the game. Embrace the thrill of the duel, the joy of strategic plays, and the camaraderie with fellow duelists. This has been ArcKnight of RespectYGO. Thanks for reading until the end. Keep dueling, keep smiling, and may your draws always be in your favor!

[RespectYGO] Top 10 Must-Try Yu-Gi-Oh! Decks in Asian English for 2025 – Post-Banlist Edition! | Discussion Hey Duelists! ArcKnight here. The first Asian English Forbidden and Limited List Update, effective January 1, 2025, is out! While it hit many of 2024's top decks, it also gives new decks a chance to shine. Choosing your next deck in the AE Format might be tough, especially after playing in a full-powered meta. But don't worry, I've got you covered! Let's dive into the top 10 decks to try post-January 2025 AE Banlist. Let’s go! January 2025 AE Forbidden and Limited List Recap Before we proceed, let’s review the newest forbidden and limited list for Asian English. Forbidden No changes. Limited: Diabellestarr the Black Witch Snake-Eyes Ash Snake-Eyes Poplar Tenpai Dragon Chundra Crossout Designator Foolish Burial Harpie’s Feather Duster Monster Reborn Kaiser Colosseum Reinforcement of the Army Runick Fountain Sangen Summoning Terraforming WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils Skill Drain Summon Limit   Semi Limited:   Bonfire Called by the Grave One for One Pot of Desires Pot of Extravagance Pot of Prosperity Purrely Sleepy Memory Red Reboot   Unlimited:   No changes   For the full list, please refer to the Official Website.   What are the must-try decks post-January AE banlist? For those curious, Asian English (AE) is a unique format played in OCG territories outside Japan and Korea. It uses cards marked with "-AE" in their set codes and English text. The AE format has a limited card pool, which explains some of the choices in the list. AE cards are versatile and can also be used in OCG tournaments. While the forbidden section stayed the same, this list hit popular strategies like Tenpai Dragon, Snake-Eyes, and Runick. It also limited staple cards like Terraforming, Reinforcement of the Army, Skill Drain, and Crossout Designator, similar to the current OCG List. With fewer ways to counter popular hand traps like Maxx "C", Mucharmy Fuwalos, and Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, the gameplay of most decks will change drastically. Here are 10 decks that you can explore in the new AE format. Note that these selections are only based on my personal observation and may change depending on the environment. Rescue Ace Rescue Ace is a top pick with EMERGENCY! and Rescue Ace Air Lifter still at 3 copies. You can tech the Diabellestarr engine and bridge to your Rescue Ace Hydrant using the new Azamina engine from RAGE OF THE ABYSS. With only 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster next year, board wipes are less of a threat. Just watch out for Evenly Matched! 😉 Yubel Yubel is another top contender for next year. Even with only 1 Terraforming post-banlist, you still have 3 copies of Phantom of Yubel. Plus, with SELECTION 5 – QUARTER CENTURY EDITION, you can boost your end board with Muckracker of the Underworld and Knightmare Gryphon. Get ready to dominate!  Memento Memento is another fantastic choice with its consistency and power. The deck excels at countering targeting effects with its quick-play cards. Just watch out for Dimension Shifter, as it's still at 3. Gimmick Puppet Ready to be their guest? Meet the Gimmick Puppet theme, specializing in FTK (First-Turn Kill)! The core strategy is to inflict effect damage until your opponent hits 0 on your first turn. Aside from Terraforming, the core strategy is untouched. Plus, you can maximize the Horus engine for extra bait. Like Memento, just pray you don't face Dimension Shifter! Voiceless Voice Voiceless Voice is another solid choice with its straightforward plays and versatility against common hand traps. If you don’t like a deck that can be stopped by Maxx “C”, and Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Voiceless Voice can be your best bet. Protect Lo at all costs! Snake-Eye Fire King Yes, the deck is very much alive with fewer Snake-Eyes in the year of the Snake (2025). Fire King High Avatar Kirin is still at 3 copies and the deck can still land on explosive plays. The Snake-Eye and Diabellestarr can still be used as an engine to bridge your Fire King plays. Chimera Here's another deck to try that can maximize the new Azamina and Horus to speed things up. This deck is consistent and versatile, perfect for countering your opponent's plays. Plus, you can easily access floodgates like Diabellze the Original Sin or King Tiger Wanghu. Fiendsmith Pure Fiendsmith decks are becoming a thing lately because all you need is at least one LIGHT Fiend monster to get things going (and add 365354947 hand traps). With the introduction of Primite from RAGE OF THE ABYSS, you can use it to bridge to White Duston and access your core plays. Magical Musket is also a great deck to combine with Fiendsmith. Salamangreat Salamangreat is a safe bet with its consistency and solid endboard. It boasts plenty of one-card combos that can lead to powerful plays. Just watch out for the rock, as you have fewer Kaiser Colosseums to play this time. Get ready to blaze through the competition! Labyrinth If you’re looking for a control deck, Labrynth is a great choice. The deck has access to powerful normal trap cards that exist in Asian English, and you still have 3 Big Welcome Labyrinth in AE format.   Summary: Asian English is finally catching up to the OCG format, and with decks like Ryzeal and Maliss arriving next year, the competition is heating up! I'm excited to explore new decks and see how they fare in the next meta. Be sure to test and familiarize yourself with your deck before your next tournament, and always remember to have fun playing. This has been ArcKnight of RespectYGO. Thanks for joining today’s discussion, and happy holidays everyone!

[RespectYGO] Elevate your Strategy with “Primite”! | Archetype Starter Guide
Welcome to the Primite Archetype Starter Guide! This guide will introduce you to the Primite archetype from the RAGE OF THE ABYSS set and its robust support cards from SUPREME DARKNESS. The Primite archetype revolves around cards that support Normal monsters that can help you dominate the battlefield with their powerful effects. These cards are designed to synergize with each other, creating a formidable strategy that can overwhelm opponents. In this guide, we'll cover the key cards, strategies, and decklists to help you use the Primite cards and unleash their full potential in your duels. Let's dive into the primal world of Primite and discover how to harness their strength!   Here’s a quick guide to get you started with building your Primite deck: Introducing the new “Primite” cards! Sample Decklists Summary Introducing the new “Primite” cards! The Primite cards are prevalent in today’s metagame with their synergy in decks that cater to Normal monsters. The cards in the theme can provide additional consistency boost and interruption when necessary. Let’s discuss their cards and the recommended ratio. Primite Imperial Dragon Attribute: EarthType: Dragon Level: 6ATK: 2600DEF: 0 Requires 1 Normal Monster Tribute to Normal Summon. During your opponent's Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can reveal this card in your hand; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Primite" monster. You can only use this effect of "Primite Imperial Dragon" once per turn. If this card is Tribute Summoned: You can apply these effects, in sequence.- Negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls.- Banish all monsters your opponent controls with the same Type and/or Attribute as any of the Normal Monsters in your GY. ===== The boss monster of the theme. It acts as an instant hand trap that allows you to normal summon 1 Primite monster (including itself, provided you have the required tribute material). It acts as a mass negate for your opponent's monsters or a potential monster wipe depending on the Type and/or attribute of any Normal Monsters in your GY. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy or 1-3 copies if playing pure. Primite Another Beryl Primite Another BerylCard Number: Suda-JP015Card Type: EffectLevel: 4Rarity: NAttribute: EarthTypes: DragonATK: 1600DEF: 0 If this card is Normal Summoned: You can Set 1 "Primite" Spell/Trap from your Deck. You can only use each of the following effects of "Primite Another Beryl" once per turn. You can Tribute this card; send 1 Normal Monster from your Deck to the GY. During your Standby Phase, if you have a Normal Monster on your field or in your GY: You can add this card from your GY to your hand. ==== The newest Primite monster in SUPREME DARKNESS and the best one so far! When Normal Summoned, it can directly set any 1 Primite Spell/Trap from your deck making it a perfect starter. It can also set up your Normal Monster to the GY and recycle itself back to your hand during your standby phase when you have a Normal Monster on your field or GY. Ratio: Run 3 copies.   Primite Lordly Lode Primite Lordly LodeCard Number: Rota-AE058Card Type: SpellRarity: SRTypes: Continuous Spell When this card is activated: Add 1 "Primite" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Primite Lordly Lode". You can declare 1 Normal Monster Card name; Special Summon 1 declared Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or GY in Defense Position, also you cannot activate the effects of Special Summoned monsters on the field this turn. You can only use each effect of "Primite Lordly Lode" once per turn. Normal Monsters and "Primite" monsters you control gain 300 ATK for each Normal Monster with different names in your GY. === The primary searcher spell of the theme. It can search 1 Primite card from your deck on activation and can even special summon 1 Normal Monster from hand, Deck, or GY on its own. Ratio: Run 2-3 copies. Primite Roar Primite RoarCard Number: Rota-AE059Card Type: SpellRarity: NTypes: Quick Play Spell Pay 2000 LP, then declare 1 Normal Monster Card name; the declared Normal Monsters and "Primite" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle (until the end of your opponent's turn), then if you control no monsters, you can Special Summon 1 declared Normal Monster from your Deck in Defense Position. If your opponent Normal Summons a monster: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Normal Monster you control or in your GY; banish 1 monster from the field with less ATK than that monster. === This Primite spell helps you special summon any 1 Normal Monster Card name that you declare from your Deck and provides neat battle protection. Its graveyard effect acts as an additional interruption depending on the ATK of the Normal monster you have in your GY. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies.   Primite Drillbeam Primite DrillbeamCard Number: Rota-AE060Card Type: SpellRarity: NTypes: Quick Play Spell Reveal 1 "Primite" card, or 1 Normal Monster, in your hand, except "Primite Drillbeam" (or if you control a Normal Monster or a Level 5 or higher "Primite" monster, except a Token, you can activate this effect without revealing a card), then target 1 face-up card on the field; negate its effects, and if you do, banish it. During your Main Phase, if you control a "Primite" monster: You can Set this card from your GY. You can only use each effect of "Primite Drillbeam" once per turn. === Primitive Drillbeam is one of the main interruptions of this deck. It allows you to negate any 1 face-up card on the field and banish that card as a result. The cool part is that you can set it during your main phase from the GY for as long as you control a Primite monster. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Primite Howl Primite HowlCard Number: Rota-AE076Card Type: TrapRarity: NTypes: Normal Trap Declare 1 Normal Monster Card name; you take no battle damage from battles involving your declared Normal Monsters or your "Primite" monsters (for the rest of this turn), then if you control no monsters, you can Special Summon 1 declared Normal Monster from your Deck or GY. During your opponent's turn: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Normal Monster you control or in your GY; take control of 1 monster your opponent controls with higher ATK than that monster, until the End Phase. === Another Normal Monster searcher in the form of a trap card. Suppose you banish it from your GY during your opponent’s turn. In that case, you can also take control of 1 monster your opponent controls with higher ATK than the Normal Monster you targeted on your field or in your GY, making it an excellent interruption to stop your opponent, from establishing their combo. Ratio: Run 0-3 copies. Primite Resounding Reaction Primite Resounding Reaction Card Number: Suda-JP076 Card Type: Trap Rarity: N Types: Counter Trap When your opponent would Normal or Special Summon a monster(s) while you control a Normal Monster or a Level 5 or higher "Primite" monster, except a Token: Negate the Summon, and if you do, banish that monster(s). During your Standby Phase, if you control a "Primite" monster: You can Set this card from your GY, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Primite Resounding Reaction" once per turn. === The newest Primite trap from SUPREME DARKNESS and this one’s a counter trap that could negate the Normal or Special Summon of monster(s) for as long as you control either a Normal monster or a Level 5 or higher Primite monster except a Token. Like Primite Another Beryl, it has its way of recycling itself from your GY, making it excellent during grind games. Ratio: Run 0-3 copies. Check out the RAGE OF THE ABYSS Asian English Bonus Pack for cool Normal monsters that you can include in your deck!     Sample Decklists Here are some sample lists that use the Primite engine. Primite Six Samurai Primite Blue-Eyes Primite Gladiator Beast Summary The Primite archetype from RAGE OF THE ABYSS is an excellent engine that could work with many decks. With support from SUPREME DARKNESS, these cards become even stronger, offering powerful combos and strategies to dominate the battlefield. If you’re a fan of decks that require Normal monsters, consider using the new Primite cards. By understanding the core mechanics of the Primite archetype, you'll be well on your way to mastering this powerful deck and achieving victory in your duels. This has been ArcKnight of RespectYGO. These new cards bring enhanced synergy and powerful effects that can turn the tide of any duel. Let’s discuss their new cards and highlight the critical cards that make this deck formidable. Arcana Force V - The Hierophant Arcana Force V - The HierophantCard Number: Suda-JP004Card Type: EffectLevel: 4Rarity:Attribute: LightTypes: FairyATK: 1500DEF: 1500 You can discard this card; for the rest of this turn, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when an "Arcana Force" monster(s) is Summoned to your field. If this card is Summoned: Toss a coin.- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Arcana Force" monster from your Deck with a different name from the monsters you control and in your GY.- Tails: Special Summon 1 "Arcana Force" monster from your Deck to your opponent's field. ===== This monster has two abilities: To protect your Arcana Force monsters from being interrupted when summoned and to bring other Arcana Force monster(s) to your field. It’s one of your ways to swarm the field with Arcana Force to quickly bring Arcana Force EX – The Chaos Ruler. Ratio: Run 3 copies.   Arcana Force XIX – The Sun Arcana Force XIX - The SunCard Number: Suda-JP005Card Type: EffectLevel: 7Rarity: RAttribute: LightTypes: FairyATK: 2900DEF: 2900 If a card with a coin-tossing effect is on the field, You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Arcana Force XIX - The Sun" once per turn. If this card is Summoned: Toss a coin.- Heads: Set 1 Spell from your Deck that has a coin-tossing effect.- Tails: Destroy all cards in the Spell & Trap Zones. ==== This new monster is your real ideal initial starter for its effect to set any 1 Spell Card from your Deck that is having a coin-tossing impact or wipes all cards in the Spell & Trap Zones. With Light Barrier on the field, you can always choose the effect that could benefit you the most, and it can special summon itself for free for as long as a card that has a coin-tossing effect on the field. Ratio: Run 3 copies.   Arcana Force EX – The Chaos Ruler Arcana Force EX - The Chaos RulerCard Number: Suda-JP034Card Type: FusionLevel: 10Rarity: URAttribute: LightTypes: FairyATK: 3300DEF: 3300 3 "Arcana Force" monsters with different namesMust be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from either field to the GY. If this card is Special Summoned: Toss a coin.- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 10 "Arcana Force" monster from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.- Tails: Add 1 card from your Deck to your hand that has a coin-tossing effect.Your opponent cannot activate monster effects on the field while "Light Barrier" is in a Field Zone. ==== Here comes the newest boss monster of the Arcana Force theme. Both of its coin-tossing effects are useful regardless of what lands. It is one of your best ways to easily access Arcana Force XXI – The World for that turn-less combo. Aside from its easy summoning requirement, it also has a built-in floodgate effect wherein your opponent cannot activate monster effects on their field while Light Barrier is in a Field Zone. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies   The Wave of Light The Wave of LightCard Number: Suda-JP053Card Type: SpellRarity: NTypes: Continuous Spell Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, if you do not have "Light Barrier" in your Field Zone: Toss a coin. If the result is tails, the following effects are negated until your next Standby Phase.- Fairy monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF.- You can discard 1 card; add 2 "Arcana Force" monsters with different names from each other from your Deck to your hand, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn, except "Arcana Force" monsters. You can only use this effect of "The Wave of Light" once per turn. ==== This spell is one of your main starters. Aside from the 300 ATK/DEF boost, it also allows you to search any two Arcana Force monsters with different names from each other from your Deck to your hand by just discarding any card! Ratio: Run 3 copies   Arcana Spread Arcana SpreadCard Number: Suda-JP054Card Type: SpellRarity: NTypes: Normal Spell Toss a coin and apply this effect. If "Light Barrier" is in your Field Zone, you can choose the effect instead.- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Arcana Force" monster from your Deck.- Tails: Special Summon 1 monster from your GY with a coin-tossing effect. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 card from your GY to your hand that has a coin-tossing effect. You can only use 1 "Arcana Spread" effect per turn, and only once that turn. ==== This spell card can help you bring out the Hierophant right after you set it with the Sun. Unless the luck is on your side, its coin-tossing effect relies on Light Barrier face-up in your Field Zone for maximum effectiveness. Its graveyard effect is helpful in recycling a coin-tossing effect card for future use. Ratio: Run 2-3 copies.   Important Arcana Force Support Cards Let’s review other vital cards you can use to build your deck. Goddess of Duality Goddess of DualityCard Number: Suda-JP029Card Type: EffectLevel: 3Rarity: NAttribute: LightTypes: FairyATK: 950DEF: 700 If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 monster from your Deck to your hand that has a coin tossing effect, except "Goddess of Duality". During your Main Phase: You can toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, the ATK of all monsters you currently control becomes doubled until the end of this turn. If you call it wrong, send as many monsters you control as possible to the GY, and if you do, draw 1 card. You can only use each effect of "Goddess of Duality" once per turn. ==== This new monster can search all monsters that have a coin-tossing effect, which means you instantly have access to all your Arcana Force monsters of choice. Ratio: Run 3 copies.   Arcana Force XV – The Fiend AC03-JP005 Arcana Force XV – The Fiend LIGHT Fairy / Effect LV7 2500/2500   (1) You can discard this card; add 1 “Light Barrier” from your Deck or GY to the hand. (2) If this card is Summoned: Toss a coin and gain the appropriate effect. Heads: When an attack is declared involving this card: You can target 1 monster on the field; destroy it, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to its controller. Tails: When an attack is declared involving this card: Destroy all monsters on the field. ==== This monster is your instant access to Light Barrier to ensure that the Arcana Force coin-tossing effects that will resolve are what you desire. The coin-tossing effects are neat but not usually used all the time.   Ratio: Run 3 copies.     Arcana Reading Arcana Reading Normal Spell   You can use each effect among the (1)st and (2)nd effects with this card’s name only once per turn. (1) Toss a coin and apply 1 of these effects depending on the result, OR, if “Light Barrier” is in your Field Zone, choose 1 to apply without tossing a coin. – Heads: Add 1 card with a coin tossing effect from your Deck to your hand, except “Arcana Reading”. – Tails: Your opponent chooses 1 card in their Deck to add to their hand. (2) You can banish this card from your GY; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 “Arcana Force” monster from your hand. ==== This is one of your main searchers for as long as Light Barrier is in your Field Zone. It also allows you to do an extra normal summon for any 1 Arcana Force monster from your hand. Ratio: Run 2-3 copies   Light Barrier Light Barrier Field Spell Card During your Standby Phase, toss a coin. If the result is Tails, the following effects are negated until your next Standby Phase: When you Summon an "Arcana Force" monster, choose which effect to apply without tossing a coin. If an "Arcana Force" monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK. ==== The heart and soul of the deck. This ensures that you can safely use the coin-tossing effect of your Arcana Force monsters with no drawbacks. Ratio: Run 2-3 copies.   Other Arcana Force Monsters Because of their name, you would want to main some of these Arcana Force monsters. Arcana Force XXI - The World is essential if you’re gearing towards the turn-less combo, while Arcana Force EX – The Dark Ruler is here to conduct an OTK after pulling off the turn-less combo. The other level 4 or lower Arcana Force monster serves as additional harmless targets for Arcana Force V – The Hierophant.   Sample Decklists   Below are two sample OCG deck lists from which you can try or get inspiration.   Arcana Force (Pure Version) Arcana Force Fiendsmith Summary Whether you’re a seasoned duelist or new to the game, the Arcana Force archetype offers a blend of strategy, power, and thematic flair that makes every duel exciting and unpredictable. [RespectYGO] Forge Your Way to Victory with “Metalmorph”! | Archetype Starter Guide
[RespectYGO] Forge Your Way to Victory with “Metalmorph”! | Archetype Starter Guide Welcome duelists to another archetype starter guide! This time, we’ll discuss the newest archetype in RAGE OF THE ABYSS called Metalmorph, which is ready to “steel” the spotlight as it is released in Asian English! This cool new archetype promises to shake up duels with its strong strategies and shiny, metallic monsters. Imagine a duel where metal and magic combine, creating powerful cards and clever plays that even the most experienced duelists will find exciting. As we explore the mechanics and potential of Metalmorph, get ready to be amazed by the blend of tech and fantasy that makes this archetype truly special. Time to gear up and duel your way to victory! Here’s a quick guide to get you started with building your own Metalmorph deck: Introducing the “Metalmorph” cards! Sample Decklist Summary Introducing the “Metalmorph” cards! If you’re diving into the Rage of the Abyss booster pack, you’re in for a treat with the Metalmorph archetype. Inspired by the classic trap card Metalmorph, this new addition to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe is all about transforming your monsters into powerful, metallic monsters. Let’s take a closer look at what makes this archetype so exciting. Metal Illusionist Metal Illusionist is your go-to starter that can help you set 1 Metalmorph trap card from your deck to your field and can even net you one free draw when a Max Metalmorph is in your graveyard when this effect activates, generating your card advantage. It can manipulate its levels and monster type, making it perfect for transforming into your Machine monster upgrades. Ratio: Run 3 copies. Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon This classic Red-Eyes Black Metal dragon is upgraded with powerful effects! It can help you set any 1 Metalmorph trap card from your deck by revealing and shuffling itself back to your deck. On the field, it can negate any card or effect and even deal effect damage to your opponent! Ratio: Run one to two copies. Metalzoa X The newest machine upgrade of Zoa. Like Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon, it can replace itself from your hand and set 1 Metalmorph trap from your deck instead. Up to twice per turn, it can destroy one face-up monster your opponent controls when they activate any monster effect or spell card/effect, which is excellent for providing field control. Ratio: Run one to two copies. Zoa the Fiendish Beast This is the retrained version of the classic monster Zoa. This is another way to fetch your Metalmorph trap cards, which could act as a tribute fodder when you summon it in your field. Ratio: Run one to three copies. Incoming Machine! Incoming Machine is the main searcher that can help you access monsters that mention Max Metalmorph or 1 Metalmorph trap card from your deck or graveyard to your hand. It also has a bonus graveyard effect that can force one defense position monster your opponent controls to attack position. Ratio: Run three copies. Max Metalmorph The newest upgrade of Metalmorph and Rare Metalmorph. This trap card can help bring out Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon and Metalzoa X so long as you have the proper tribute materials. It provides ATK/DEF boost and immunity to destruction via Spell or monster effects and targeting effects of the mentioned card types. Ratio: Run one to three copies. Time Engine Time Engine is an additional target, always treated as a Metalmorph card. Its situational effect relies on your opponent’s move, making it tricky to resolve. It’s still a neat card that can bring a surprise attack when the conditions are met. Ratio: Run 0 to 1 copy. SUPREME DARKNESS Supreme Darkness releases two new cards for the theme, potentially boosting the deck’s strategy. Metal Flame Swordsman Level 6 FIRE Machine Special Summon Effect Monster ATK 2500 DEF 1600 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned with “Max Metalmorph” activated by Tributing a Level 5 or higher Warrior monster. You can only use the (1)st effect of this card’s name once per turn. (1) You can reveal this card in your hand; add 1 card that mentions “Max Metalmorph” from your Deck to your hand, except “Metal Flame Swordsman”, and if you do, shuffle this card into the Deck. (2) Each time your opponent activates a card or effect, this card gains 300 ATK; if it does, it inflicts 500 damage to them. ====== The newest Metalmorph support is here, and you can finally search all the Max Metalmorph-related cards like Metal Illusionist, Incoming Machine, and many more! While on the field, it deals 500 damage for every card or effect your opponent does, making it devastating mid to late game. Ratio: Run three copies (Post SUDA)  Flame Metalmorph Normal Trap Card You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn. (1) Tribute 1 face-up monster that mentions “Max Metalmorph”; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set and mentions “Max Metalmorph,” ignoring its Summoning conditions, then you can equip this card to it as an Equip Card with this effect. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can send this card to the GY instead. ==== An excellent new Metalmorph card that is easier to use thanks to ignoring the summoning conditions of the monster that mentions Max Metalmorph so long as you tribute a monster that mentions that trap card. Pre-SUDA (Supreme Darkness), you would be stuck with only one Max Metalmorph, and you would have to choose between Metalzoa X and Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon. You can potentially set Max Metalmorph and this trap card with your theme monsters. Ratio: Run three copies. (I feel this is stronger than the original Max Metalmorph and is easier to resolve.) Decklists Below is a sample Max Metalmorph deck from the OCG that you can use as a reference point. Details: This is a Fiendsmith Metalmorph deck. The Fiendsmith engine provides the necessary materials for Metalzoa X. With Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon, you are guaranteed an omni-negate that can protect you from your opponent’s plays. Summary The Metalmorph archetype brings a fresh layer of strategy to your duels. Whether you’re a casual player or a competitive duelist, these cards offer new ways to outsmart your opponents. Boosting your monsters’ stats and shielding them from harm can turn the tide of any duel, making Metalmorph cards a must-have in your deck. Are you thinking about building a deck around the Metalmorph archetype from RAGE OF THE ABYSS? We’d love to hear your thoughts below! This has been ArcKnight of RespectYGO. Happy Dueling!   Image Source: Yu-Gi-Oh! Asia Facebook Page/OCG Official X

[RespectYGO] How to Unleash the Full Potential of “Magical Musket”? | Archetype Starter Guide
How to Unleash the Full Potential of “Magical Musket”? | Archetype Starter Guide Welcome, duelists, to the ultimate guide for crafting your Magical Musket deck! If you’re ready to wield the power of the musket and outsmart your opponents with style, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re a seasoned duelist or a newcomer looking to make a splash, this guide will help you assemble a formidable and fun deck now that it’s available in Asian English from INFINITE FORBIDDEN! So, grab your deck box, shuffle those cards, and let’s dive into the world of Magical Muskets! Ready, aim, duel! Here’s a quick guide to get you started with building your own Magical Musket deck: Introducing the “Magical Musket” cards! Tech Cards and Engines Sample Decklists Summary   Introducing the “Magical Musket” cards! The Magical Musket archetype in Yu-Gi-Oh! is a fascinating and strategic set of cards that revolves around LIGHT Fiend monsters. Its core strategy involves using its themed monsters to accumulate and activate Magical Musket Spell/Trap cards instantly from your hand, making the deck unpredictable and versatile. Let’s talk about the key cards in this strategy. Note: All their archetype monsters continuously allow Magical Musket Spell/Trap cards from your hand to be activated during either player’s turn. They are also LIGHT Fiend monsters, making all their monsters an instant bridge to the Fiendsmith engine. Magical Musketeer Caspar Caspar is your go-to Magical Musketeer who can search any other Magical Musket card when a Spell/Trap card is activated in its column except the card that was activated. Ratio: Run 3 copies. Magical Musketeer Starfire Starfire fetches the Magical Musketeer of preference when a Spell/Trap card is activated in its column. Like Caspar, Starfire is one of your preferred starters. Ratio: Run 3 copies. Magical Musket Doc Magical Musket Doc is one of the ways you can recycle a Magical Musket card from your Graveyard. It isn’t a starter and can only generate an advantage mid to late-game. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Magical Musket Kid Brave Kid Brave is your draw power, allowing you to generate card advantage when a Spell/Trap card is activated in its column. Unlike the other starters, it’s reliant on having (1) a Magical Musket to discard for its draw and (2) a Spell/Trap to activate, which makes Magical Musket Doc better at times. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Magical Musketeer Calamity Calamity is your go-to monster to revive your fallen Magical Musket monster. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy. Magical Musket Wild Magical Musket Wild is here to help you recycle your bullets (Magical Musket Spell/Trap) and draw 1 card. Ratio: 0-1 copy. Magical Musket Mastermind Zakiel Zakiel is the archetype’s boss monster, and it’s here to replenish your hand cards up to the number of Magical Musket Spell/Trap cards you activated during that turn. Other than that, it requires a monster for its tribute summon and doesn’t do anything extra for its comrades. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy. Magical Musketeer Max Max is a themed link one monster of Magical Musketeers and has the powerful effect of generating a huge amount of card advantage depending on your choice. You can either add Magical Musket Spell/Trap cards with different names from your deck to your hand up to the number of monsters your opponent controls when it is linked summoned or special summon Magical Musket monsters with different names from your deck to your field up to the number of Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls. The best part about it is it’s a LIGHT Fiend, and you can use it to climb the Fiendsmith engine. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies in the Extra Deck Magical Musket - Cross-Domination Cross-Domination is your go-to Quick Play Spell Card to negate the effects of 1 face-up monster on the field and weaken its ATK/DEF to 0 until the end of the turn. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Magical Musket - Steady Hands This Spell Card makes your Magical Musket monsters bigger regarding ATK/DEF. However, it prevents that monster from attacking directly. In the current metagame, this card is outclassed by Cross-Domination. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy. Magical Musket – Desperado It is one of my favorite Magical Musket traps that can help you clear your opponent’s board or disrupt their strategy. Ratio: Run 3 copies. Magical Musket – Last Stand This trap card negates your opponent’s Spell/Trap card and destroys them. Aside from Desperado and Cross-Domination, this will be one of your go-to Magical Musket searches via Caspar or Max. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Magical Musket – Dancing Needle When it resolves, this trap card allows you to banish up to 3 cards in any Graveyard. This trap can also be chained against the opponent’s Called by the Grave when they attempt to banish your Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring or Maxx “C”. Ratio: 1-3 copies. Magical Musket – Fiendish Deal Magical Musket relies on your monsters staying on your field, and this card can protect them from being destroyed by card effects. Like the rest of the Spell/Trap cards of the archetype, you can activate this card right away from your hand, making it a searchable protection. When destroyed, it lets you fetch any Magical Musket from your Deck or GY to your hand. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy. Magical Musket – Crooked Crown This card can help you swarm the field with additional Magical Musket monsters. It has another effect that prevents the opponent from using the empty main monster zone from the column of the newly summoned monster, which is neat but not that impactful in today’s metagame. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy.   Tech cards and Engines Magical Musket is home to different engines or tech cards that you can use to strengthen your deck. Whether you are going pure or Fiendsmith route, there’s a perfect game plan for you. Fiendsmith Engine Fiendsmith and Magical Musket have a common denominator: LIGHT Fiend. All your Magical Musket are LIGHT Fiend which makes them perfect with Fiendsmith to add additional consistency or fire power. Generic Cards Generic cards such as Pot of Prosperity and Ties of the Brethren can help tutor your Magical Musket cards. Forbidden Droplet can help aid potential threats going second, and Dominus Purge is an additional interruption that works perfectly in an all-LIGHT deck.   Decklists Below are sample Magical Musket decklists in Asian English format post INFINITE FORBIDDEN. Customize the decks according to your preference. Note: These decklists follow the November 2023 AE Forbidden & Limited List Deck: Magical Musket (Pure) Details: This deck shines best when played second to maximize Magical Musketeer—Max. It can also be played first, depending on the match-up. Deck: Fiendsmith Magical Musket Details: This build incorporates the Fiendsmith engine to climb to powerful link monsters or Fiendsmith Desirae. Here’s a quick guide to get you started with building your own White Forest deck: Introducing the “White Forest” cards! Sample Decklists Summary Introducing the “White Forest” cards! The White Forest deck is a new archetype in INFINITE FORBIDDEN, known for its unique synergy and powerful synchro-summoning capabilities. The deck has a unique gameplay that maximizes their themed spell and traps that can recycle themselves, making the cost to activate the White Forest monster effects almost free. Combined with various support engines, White Forest can create a formidable strategy to outpace opponents in card advantage and field presence. Let’s discuss the core cards of the strategy! Astellar of the White Forest Astellar is a key starter card, allowing you to special summon any 1 LIGHT Spellcaster monster from your deck by sending any 1 Spell/Trap card from your hand or field to the graveyard. This card’s ability to summon itself and a LIGHT Spellcaster Tuner from your Deck makes it essential for setting up synchro plays. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Elizette of the White Forest Elzette of the White Forest serves as another searcher and extender, summoning itself and searching another White Forest monster straight from your deck at the cost of sending any 1 Spell/Trap from your hand or field to the graveyard. It also has the effect of recycling itself from the Graveyard, helping you with grind games. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Silvy of the White Forest Silvy of the White Forest is a versatile card that can search your White Forest Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. It also has the effect of recycling your fallen White Forest synchro and summoning itself for free from the Graveyard as a potential material for a Synchro summon. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Rucia of the White Forest Rucia of the White Forest is another extender of the theme and draw power. Like Silvy, it can also summon itself from the Graveyard by returning 1 White Forest Synchro Monster you control or in your Graveyard to your deck, making it a perfect fodder for your next synchro summon. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Diabell, Queen of the White Forest Diabell, Queen of the White Forest is one of your go-to Synchro monsters to set up your combos and add additional interruption by being able to bring out any 1 Level 7 or lower tuner Synchro monster from Extra Deck, Graveyard, or banishment in response to your opponent’s activation of a card or effect a cost of sending any 1 Spell/Trap card from your hand or field to the Graveyard. It can also recycle 1 Spell/Trap when summoned using a Tuner Synchro monster to help you recover your card advantage. Ratio: Run 1-2 copies. Silvera, Wolf Tamer of the White Forest Silvera is one of your go-to Synchro-tuner monsters to special summon via Diabell. It can effectively shut down your opponent’s strategies by flipping all face-up monsters they control face-down when this monster graces the field. The synchro material is also generic, making it a breeze to summon in White Forest, and it also boosts your Illusion and Spellcaster Synchro monster with 500 ATK and piercing damage. Ratio: Run 1-2 copies. Rciela, Sinister Soul of the White Forest Rciela is your go-to Synchro to help set up Diabell and can also help you fetch the missing White Forest or LIGHT Spellcaster monster from your deck at the cost of sending 1 Spell/Trap from your hand or field to the Graveyard. LIGHT Spellcaster? Reminds me of Effect Veiler. It also provides a 500 ATK boost and card destruction immunity for Illusion and Spellcaster Synchro monsters you control. Ratio: Run 1-2 copies. Beware of the White Forest This spell card allows you to either act as an instant card removal or a reusable cost for your White Forest monster effect cost. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. Tales of the White Forest This spell card can search any 1 White Forest monster from your deck to your hand on activation for as long as you control an Illusion or a Spellcaster monster. Like the rest of the White Forest Spell/Traps, this can also set itself back when sent to the Graveyard to activate a monster effect. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies. The Fiend of the White Forest The newest White Forest Spell card from RAGE OF THE ABYSS. This spell card acts as an instant face-up card negate by tributing 1 Synchro monster. If you tributed a White Forest Synchro monster, you can also special summon 1 Illusion monster from the Graveyard, such as Diabell. It can also set itself once again when sent to the Graveyard to activate a monster effect. Ratio: Run 0-1 copy. Susurrus of the Sinful Spoils This spell card can help you either dodge a targeting effect or replace 1 Illusion or Spellcaster monster you control back to your hand or Extra deck to revive another Illusion or Spellcaster from your GY or banishment. Like the rest of the White Forest Spell/Traps, this Sinful Spoil spell card can set itself, too. Ratio: Run 0-3 copies. Woes of the White Forest This trap can tutor any White Forest monster from your hand or Deck and help facilitate an instant synchro summon of 1 White Forest monster on resolution. It can also be set again as a cost like the other White Forest Spell/Trap cards. Ratio: Run 1-3 copies   Sample Decklists Below are some sample decklists you can use to inspire your building.
