Ever since I first delved into the world of control strategy, I've been hooked. So, when I heard about a brand-new archetype making its debut in SUPREME DARKNESS, my excitement went through the roof!
Today, we're diving into the fascinating world of Argostars, one of the freshest and most intriguing themes from SUPREME DARKNESS Asian English. And the best part? This is just the beginning, as Argostars will be getting even more powerful with upcoming support in ALLIANCE INSIGHT. Buckle up, because this is going to be an epic journey! Let's go!

Argostars - Glorious Adra

If this card is Normal Summoned: Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of your Continuous Trap Cards and effects for the rest of this turn. You can banish this card you control; place up to 2 "Argostars" Continuous Traps with different names from your hand and/or Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone. You can only use this effect of "Argostars – Glorious Adra" once per turn.
Review: The deck's main starter fetches your continuous trap cards and makes them immune to interruptions. Plus, when banished from your hand, it modifies ATK to shield you from potential OTKs.

You can banish this card; Set 1 Continuous Trap from your hand. It can be activated this turn.
Review:
The newest monster in ALLIANCE INSIGHT is a powerhouse! It can be the main beat stick of the theme, help your continuous trap monsters dodge targeting effects, and speed up the activation of a Continuous Trap card from your hand.

Once per turn: You can pay 1000 LP; add 1 "Argostars" card from your GY or banishment to your hand. Each time a Continuous Trap in the Spell & Trap Zone is Special Summoned to your field, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. Once per Chain, if a Continuous Trap activates its effect in your Monster Zone, while you have a banished "Argostars" monster: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn.
Review: This field spell lets you recycle Argostars cards from your GY or banishment and offers an alternate win condition by inflicting 500 damage for each special summon of continuous trap monsters. Plus, it can negate any face-up card your opponent controls, though it's reactive and less effective against trigger effects.

During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 2 cards on the field, including an "Argostars" Continuous Trap you control; return them to the hand. You can only use 1 "Argostars - Gian Hunting" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Review: This quick-play search is packed with utility! It can instantly summon Adra to make your continuous trap cards unresponsive, serve as potential removal, and recycle them.

Review: This is your main removal tool in the archetype! To use it, your opponent must activate a card or effect, allowing you to special summon it from the Spell & Trap zone. Then, with a banished Argostars monster, you can return a card on the field to the hand. It's not ideal for preemptive removal, but it's powerful when conditions are met.

2 Effect MonstersIf this card battles a monster, neither can be destroyed by that battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Silhouhatte Rabbit" once per turn. If this card is Link Summoned: You can Set 1 Continuous Trap from your Deck with an effect that Special Summons itself as a monster, also this card cannot be used as Link Material this turn. If a card in the Spell & Trap Zone is Special Summoned to the Monster Zone (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; destroy it.
Review: This is your go-to link monster for Argostars! It fetches any Continuous Trap card from your Deck to your field that can be special summoned and, as a bonus, clears one of your opponent's Spell/Trap cards when a trap monster is summoned from your Spell/Trap zone.
Ratio: Run 3 copies if you’re running Pot of Extravagance.
Status of the Anguish Pattern
Continuous Trap Card
Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 7/ATK 0/DEF 2500). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, this card cannot be targeted by an opponent's card effects while you control another Trap Card that is a monster. If a card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Zone to the Monster Zone while this card is a monster: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it.
Review: This monster trap card offers extra removal! With Argostars trap cards cycling between the Spell/Trap zone and monster zone each turn, you're guaranteed consistent removal.

Review: Surprise! Argostar Adra and Parthe are Warrior-Type so you need more ways to consistently search them, especially Adra.

Here is a sample Argostars decklist from OCG. Feel free to modify this depending on the format that you’re playing.
Sample Combo: 1.5 Card Combo via Argostars Glorious Adra
Step 1: Nomal Summon Argostars Glorious Adra, use its effect to protect your continuous trap cards from your opponent’s effects. Use its other effect to place Argostars – Lightning Tydeu and Argostars – Swift Capane face up in your Spell/Trap zone.
Step 2: Use Argostars – Lightning Tydeu’s effect from the Spell/Trap zone to special summon itself (Discard 1 card from your hand) then add Argostars Home Stadium from your Deck to your hand.
Step 3: Activate Argostars – Home Stadium in your field zone.
Step 4: Use Argostars Swift Capane from your Spell/Trap zone to special summon itself and gain 500 LP. Argostars – Home Stadium in your field zone will trigger to inflict 500 damage to your opponent’s LP.
Step 5: Use Argostars - Swift Capane and Argostars – Lightning Tydeu to link summon Silhouhatte Rabbit> Set Argostars – Slayer Eteo from your Deck to your field.
Step 6: Use Argostars – Home Stadium in your field zone (Pay 1000) to add Argostars – Lightning Tydeu Or Argostars – Swift Capane from your GY to your hand. Set it back on your field.
